    • PURPOSE: A lighting device and a lighting control method using the same are provided to improve user convenience by controlling the lighting device through the motion of the device.     • The present invention relates to an air conditioner. The air conditioner, according to an embodiment of the present invention, includes: a case; a first discharger which is formed on one side of the case for discharging air; a second discharger which is formed on the other side of the case for discharging air; an operation panel which is movably provided, in order to open at least a portion of the first discharger or the second discharger; and a recognition unit which recognizes configuration information so as for the operation panel to move. The operation panel is capable of moving from one of the either first and the second dischargers, to the other discharger, based on the information recognized by the recognition unit.
