    • PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image display device is provided to change a driving of a parallax barrier panel according to a viewing mode without an additional processor by driving the parallax barrier panel with the same mode regardless of the viewing mode. CONSTITUTION: A display panel (110) displays a first image in a two dimensional driving mode and displays a second image and a third image for first and second sections alternatively generated in a three-dimensional driving mode. A barrier panel (120) transmits the first image in the two dimensional driving mode and divides the second image into left eye and right eye images by forming a first barrier pattern for the first section. The barrier panel forms a second barrier pattern for the second section and divides the third image in to left eye and right eye images. The barrier panel includes a reference electrode (123), a plurality of first barrier electrodes, a plurality of first electrode pieces, a plurality of second barrier electrodes, and a plurality of second electrode pieces. The plurality of first barrier electrodes faces the reference electrode and is arranged to a first direction. The first barrier electrodes are arranged to a second direction which is different from the first direction as a zigzag. The plurality of second barrier electrodes faces the reference electrode and is arranged by being alternated with the first barrier electrode to the first direction.
