摘要： PURPOSE: An external use composition containing complex extract of Eclipta prostrata L., Thuja orientalis L., and Pinellia ternata Breitenbach is provide dto suppress 5 alpha-reductase and to prevent alopecia. CONSTITUTION: An external use composition for preventing alopecia and promoting hair growth contains 0.01-10 wt% of complex extract of Eclipta prostrata L., Thuja orientalis L., Gleditsia japonica Miquel var. koraiensis Nakai, Chamaecyparis obtuse, and Pinellia ternata Breitenbach as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using purified water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, ethyl acetate, glycerin, propylene glycol, or butylenes glycol. The external use composition is manufactured in the form of a hair tonic, hair conditioner, hair essence, hair lotion, hair shampoo, hair rinse, hair treatment, hair wax, hair pack, hair sop, hair mousse, or hair spray.
