    • The present invention provides a donor film laser induced thermal imaging in which a base film, a photo-thermal conversion layer, and an intermediate layer are laminated; a light absorber contained in the photo-thermal conversion layer has the maximum absorption wavelength of 800-1500 nm; and the light absorber uses a dye with a thermal decomposition temperature of 100-150°C. The donor film, according to the present invention, is capable of the following: increasing permeability of the donor film in the visible light region by using an organic dye, which absorbs light having the same wavelength with an infrared laser used for fluorescent transcription as a material for the photo-thermal conversion layer; solves the distribution density of resin in dispersion problems that occur when using an inorganic photo-thermal conversion material; and gives a function to protect the transfer member and the donor film by controlling the overheating generated during laser irradiation with a thermal decomposition of the dye itself.
