    • PURPOSE: An asymmetric-bent core molecule compound is provided to have a quick response speed, and to have threshold voltage, voltage holding rate, and stability. CONSTITUTION: An asymmetric-bent core molecule compound represented by chemical formula 1, controls dielectric anisotropy by substituting a functional group having a polarity at the terminal group thereof. In chemical formula 1, n is an integer of 10; each of X1, X2, X3, and Xz is, as a connection group between benzenes, an ester group or a simple bond; each of Y is halogen, a functional group selected from electron donor groups or accepting groups, or an aryl group and has a different location from each other. A composition includes one or more kinds of the asymmetric-bent core molecule compound represented by chemical formula 1.

    • PURPOSE: A bimesogenic compound is provided to increase rotation rate of liquid crystal molecules because marks of dielectric anisotropy of both mesogenic groups are different each other, thereby capable of improving response rate of liquid crystal together with widening viewing angle. CONSTITUTION: A bimesogenic compound is in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X1, X2, Y1, Y2, Z1, and Z2 is respectively a benzene ring unsubstituted, or 1- or 4- substitutable by F, Cl, CN, or C1-7 alkyl, alkoxy, alkylcarbonyl, or alkoxycarbonyl in which one or more H are substitutable by one or more F or Cl. Sp is a spacer group comprising C2-12. In here, one or more CH_2 groups not adhering each other can be substituted to -O-, -OCF_2-, -CF_2O-, -CF_2-CF_2-, -CH_2-CF_2-, 1,2-dimethylbenzene, 1,3-dimethylbenzene, or 1,4-dimethylbenzene.
