摘要： PURPOSE: A device for removing a stereo acoustic echo and a method thereof are provided to have an improved preprocessing filter and to remove a cross correlation by replacing a half-wave rectifying filter with an orthogonalization filter. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing a stereo acoustic echo has the first and second transmission channels, the first and second speakers each connected to the first and second transmission channels, the first and second microphones which the first and second voice echoes are applied to, and the first and second adaptation filters has the first and second adaptation coefficients by estimating the first and second voice echoes. A preprocessing filter(1) reduces a cross correlation between the first and second channels by subtracting a predetermined value from the processed values when the values of the first and second channel signals are positive, after processing the first and second channel signals with a gram-schmidt function processing device(3) and adding the result values to a corresponding first and second channel signals.
