摘要： PURPOSE: A door of household appliances is provided to show a printed material such as the directions/suggestions only when a door with a laundry observation window is opened. CONSTITUTION: A household appliances(10) is composed of a housing with a wall having an opening unit through which the laundry is taken in and out and at least one door and cover(20) moved from a first closing position to a second opening position by a hinge unit. At least one door or cover has a transparent tempered glass plate(21) with a frame sealed by composite polymer/copolymer. The frame is an innermost edge portion around upper and lower walls connected by a peripheral wall comprising a channel receiving the peripheral part of the glass plate. The glass plate has a central portion, peripheral and central regions between peripheral sealing units, and inner and outer surfaces. The peripheral region of the inside of the glass plate is transparent or opaque. A user sees the laundry through the transparent central region when at least one door and cover is in a first position. At least the directions and suggestions printed on an exposed surface are displayed if the glass plate is in the first position and not displayed if the glass plate is in a second position.

The housings include a pair of separate housing bodies(15) and another pair of adjacent housing bodies(14). The housing bodies slidably receive side edges of the tempered glass. Inner elements(45) form brackets at a wall for maintaining the shelf, having holes through clips for fixing the housing body. An LED(Light Emitting Diode) generates light through a free end of the edges of the tempered glass. The shelf is moved up and down for selectively and appropriately illuminating the inside of a refrigerator.
