    • PURPOSE: A shaft rail type of a LM guide structure is intended to provide a LM guide consisting of a simple structure in which a lot of balls does not circulate and using a minimum number of balls to linearly move a runner softly on a linear rail. CONSTITUTION: A shaft rail type of a LM guide structure comprises a shaft rail support block(11), shaft rails(12), a runner block(20), rolling balls and a ball pressing plate. The shaft rail type of a LM guide structure is formed in order that the runner block can make linearly reciprocating movement on the shaft rails. The shaft rail is fixed to the shaft rail support block. The runner block makes axis-connection to the shaft rails. In order to make linearly reciprocating movement of the runner block on the shaft rails smoothly, the rolling balls are respectively settled in two pairs of ball guide grooves and make point contact with the shaft rail. In order to maintain the point contact between the rolling balls and the shaft rail, the pressing plate is settled on each ball guide groove and comprises a plurality of elastic members installed on each rolling ball and a through-hole.

    • A ball-connecting system of an LM(Linear Motion) guide using a retainer having magnetism is provided to attach metal balls to the retainer simply by forming magnet grooves at the retainer. In a ball-connecting system of an LM(Linear Motion) guide using a retainer(10) having magnetism, the retainer is disposed between balls(1,1') made of metallic material. The retainer is made by mixing synthetic resin material with magnetic powder(13,13') of rare-earth element. Curved portions(11) is formed at two sides of the retainer and correspond to ball surface of the ball. An oil hole(12) is formed at the center of the curved portion. The retainers and the balls are attached to each other with magnetic force one by one. The adjacent retainers have an N pole and an S pole in turn.

The retainers and the balls are connected with each other one by one. The magnetic bodies installed at the adjacent retainers each have an N pole and an S pole.
