摘要： PURPOSE: An antimicrobial composition including Clerodendron trichotomum extracts is provided to have antibacterial activity against Helicobacter pylori and prevent from stimulating stomach. CONSTITUTION: An antimicrobial composition including Clerodendron trichotomum extracts comprises Clerodendron trichotomum extracts. The Clerodendron trichotomum extracts is extracted as alcohol having 1-4 carbons or a mixed solvent thereof. An antimicrobial composition against Helicobacter bacteria includes 22-dehydroclerosterol or beta-amyrin as an active ingredient. The 22-dehydroclerosterol or beta-amyrin can be obtained from the Clerodendron trichotomum.

본 발명에서는 누리장나무 잎의 추출물로부터 클로로포름, 에테르, 메틸렌클로라이드를 이용하여 탈지시킨 다음, 비이온성 교환수지를 사용하여 당과 무기염을 제거하고 세파덱스 LH 20을 이용한 이차 컬럼을 통해 다량의 순수한 AGC를 수득할 수 있으며, 분리된 이 AGC가 위염 및 역류성 식도염에 기존의 약물보다 탁월한 치료 효과를 나타내므로 위염 및 역류성 식도염 질환의 예방 및 치료에 유용한 의약품 및 건강보조식품을 제공한다.

摘要： PURPOSE: An anti-HIV agent containing an alcohol extract of Clerodendron trichotomum and a purified compound separated therefrom an as effective component, in particular an inhibitor for HIV integrase is provided, which has no drug resistance or side effects as defects of a reverse transciptase inhibitor and a protease inhibitor. CONSTITUTION: An alcohol extract of Clerodendron trichotomum having a formula 1 has an anti-HIV activity, in particular an inhibiting activity against HIV integrase. In formula, R1 is H or methyl, R2 is H, caffeoyl, or feruloyl, R3 is H, caffeoyl or feruloyl. For an example, 4.8kg Clerodendron trichotomum is extracted in methanol at room temperature and fractionated into dichloromethane and water. The fraction is subjected to column chromatography with sephadex LH-20 and then silica gel column chromatography to produce 880.8mg compound of the formula 1.
