    • 본 발명은 공기 조화기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 공기 조화기는 실외기와 실내기가 폐회로를 구성하도록 냉매관에 의해 연결되고, 냉매관이 고압 구간과 저압 구간으로 구분된다. 실내기에는 냉매누설 검출수단이 설치되어 냉매 누설을 검출한다. 냉매관의 고압 구간에는 고압관 차단 밸브가 설치되어 냉매 누설이 검출되면 실외기와 실내기 사이의 냉매의 유동을 차단한다. 냉매관의 저압 구간에는 저압관 차단 밸브가 설치되어 냉매 누설이 검출되면 실외기와 실내기 사이의 냉매의 유동을 차단한다. 본 발명에 따른 공기 조화기에서 냉매 누설이 검출되면 고압관 차단 밸브를 폐쇄하고 저압관 차단 밸브를 개방하여 실내기의 냉매를 실외기로 회수한다. 이와 같이 구성되는 본 발명에 따른 공기 조화기 및 그 제어 방법은 실내기에 연결된 냉매관에서 냉매 누설이 검출되면 신속하게 냉매 공급을 차단하고 공급되어 있는 냉매를 실외기 측으로 회수함으로써, 좁은 실내 공간에 냉매가 누설되어 발생할 수 있는 실내 거주자의 건강상의 피해를 최소화한다. 또한, 냉매 누설 발생시에 신속하게 냉매를 회수함으로써 냉매 누설에 의한 냉매 손실을 최소화한다.

    • PURPOSE: An air conditioner and a method for controlling the same are provided to prevent lowering of performance of a compressor in operating heating in a low external temperature, overheat and noise. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a bypass circuit(70) for supplying refrigerant gas separated from a vapor/liquid separator(40) to a suction pipe(16) of a compressor(10). The bypass circuit includes a branched pipe(72), a second switch valve(74), and a check valve(76). The branched pipe is branched from a bypass pipe(42) to be connected with the suction pipe of the compressor. The second switch valve is installed in the middle of the branched pipe for opening and shutting under control of a controller. The check valve is installed in the middle of the branched pipe for supplying refrigerant gas to the suction pipe and preventing a back flow of refrigerant gas.

The injection flow path has the second valve. The controller controls the opening degree of the second valve based on the operational information including the opening degree value of the first valve.
