    • PURPOSE: An ICCP type cathodic protection system for a concrete offshore structure is provided to uniformly protect entire offshore structure by properly supply current for anticorrosion to an underwater part and a water surface part. CONSTITUTION: An ICCP type cathodic protection system for a concrete offshore structure comprises an upper ICCP anode(21), a lower ICCP anode(22), a power supply device(40), and a variable resistance(60). The upper ICCP anode is installed in the upper part of the offshore structure containing a splash zone. The lower ICCP anode is installed in the lower part of the offshore structure containing an underwater part. The power supply device has a rectifier converting alternating current to direct current so that current for anticorrosion can be supplied to the upper ICCP anode and the lower ICCP anode. The variable resistance is connected to the lower ICCP anode.

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for electric anticorrosion is provided to enable replacement of a consumed anode plate or a consumed anode holder together with the anode plate by adopting impressed current cathodic protection for a vessel or a marine construction. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for impressed current cathodic protection having a depressed configuration is installed in anode dual plates(73) superposed within an outer plate(70) of a vessel. The depressed apparatus has an anode plate(20), an anode holder(30) and a rod unit(50). The anode plate(20) is made of Pt plated Ti, Pt, graphite or an oxide of alloy. The anode plate(20) has a number of fitting holes at the periphery to be fixed by countersunk screws. In a central portion of the anode plate(20) is provided with a recess to be inserted into recesses of the anode holder(30). A screw(24) is inserted into a connector hole in the recess to be screwed into a block of the rod unit(50).

The electric potential of about -1.0V(vs. SCE) is preferable, the low flow rate of seawater gives a high film formation efficiency.
