    • An apparatus and a method for treating wastewater are provided to improve the filtration efficiency of a membrane through back-washing of the membrane and reduce the time for treating surplus sludge through solubilization of the surplus sludge, by using an alkaline agent. A membrane activated sludge-treating unit(100) is divided into an anaerobic bath(15) and an aerobic bath(110). The aerobic bath is divided into an aerobic reactor(11) and an aerobic MBR(Membrane Bio-Reactor) bath(112) by a partition wall(113). A membrane solid-liquid separation unit(12) is immersed in the aerobic MBR bath. A membrane backwashing unit(120) back washes a separating membrane of the solid-liquid separation unit by using an alkaline agent. Further, a flocculant injecting unit for injecting flocculant for chemically removing phosphorus is additionally contained in the apparatus.

    • PURPOSE: A pressure-type membrane filtration equipment is provided to relatively reduce the consumption of chemicals by measuring the temperature and turbidity of a direct inflow of water flowed in a membrane and controlling the concentration of the chemical input and washing time. CONSTITUTION: A pressure-type membrane filtration equipment capable of automatically controlling the input of chemicals (100) includes an original water tank (110), a separator, a pressure pump (130), a backwashing part (140), a washing and supplying part of the chemicals (150), a turbidity meter (T1), a thermometer (T2), manometers (P1-P3) and a controller(180). The separator processes raw water flowed in through a raw water pipe (L1) from the original water tank to discharge the water through a processing water pipe (L2) and circulates part of the concentrated water to the original water tank through a concentrated water pipe (L3). The pressure pump installed on the raw water pipe pressures the raw water of the original water tank to supply the water to the separator. The backwashing part comprises a backwashing water tub (141), a backwashing water pump (143), and a flow meter (F1). The washing and supplying part of the chemicals includes a chemical tank (151), a cleaning tank for the chemical (153), a metering pump for the chemical fluid, a supply pump of the chemical fluid (157) and a line mixer (159). Manometers are respectively installed in the raw water pipe, the processing water pipe and the concentrated water pipe to measure the concentration of the raw water and the concentrated water.
