    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for disassembling and assembling chocks of edger roll for widthwise rolling is provided to easily disassemble and assemble the chocks by moving the chocks in a length direction of the edger roll in the state that the chocks are not inclined as supporting the chocks installed at both end parts of the edger roll. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a pair of chock resting stands(130) on an upper part of which chocks(160) mounted on both end parts of the edger roll(150) are rested with the edger roll being laid down; a screw shaft(120) which is penetratingly mounted on the chock resting stands and rotated to move the chock resting stands in such a direction that the chock resting stands get away from each other or get near to each other; driving motors(140) for rotating the screw shaft; supports(10) positioned on an upper part of the chocks and formed in such a way that the supports have long length in a length direction of the edger roll; chock supporting members(20) slidingly mounted on both sides of the supports to fix and support an upper part of the chocks; and a chock moving means for moving the chock supporting members in such a direction that the chock supporting members get away from each other or get near to each other, wherein the chock moving means comprises cylinder and hydraulic controller.

CONSTITUTION: The device includes a lance body(9) which is formed in a double pipe shape consisting an inner tube and an outer tube, a part of length of which is divided, and in which upper and lower flanges(26,27) are respectively formed on the outer circumferential surface of an end part of the divided outer tube; a bellows pipe(13) formed in the same structure as the inner and outer tubes so that the bellows pipe is removably connected to a divided part of the lance body; an adjustment shaft(17) connected to the upper and lower flanges of the lance body in such a way that height of the adjustment shaft is adjusted; and supporting plates(24) a plurality of which are connected to the outer circumference of the upper flange and fixed onto workbench where the lance is installed, wherein a spiral shaped guiding line is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the inner tube, and wherein a refractory material(19) is adhered to the lower part of the lance body.
