A decoding unit(40) selects a chip selection signal which selects an object for displaying the selected font data in accordance with a control of the microcomputer(30). A plurality of liquid crystal driving units(50) are activated in accordance with the chip selection signal of the decoding unit(40) and output a driving signal which displays the font data being inputted from the microcomputer(30) to a liquid crystal display unit(60). A plurality of liquid crystal display units(60) are allocated one by one according to the liquid crystal driving units(50) and display font data as a key cap character in accordance with the driving signal of the liquid crystal driving unit(50).
