    • PURPOSE: A steel box girder bridge with the improved cross-sectional bending rigidity of a longitudinal beam and a construction method of the same are provided to distribute cross-sectional bending rigidity concentrated in a steel girder to a longitudinal beam by increasing the cross-sectional bending rigidity of the longitudinal beam. CONSTITUTION: A steel box girder bridge with the improved cross-sectional bending rigidity of a longitudinal beam comprises a steel girder (110) to connect abutments or piers and a longitudinal beam (120). The cross-sectional bending rigidity range of the longitudinal beam is 5.0-40% of the same of the steel girder in order to distribute the bending moment of the steel girder to the longitudinal beam. The web height of the longitudinal beam is 600-100% of the same of the steel girder. The cross-sectional area of the flange of the longitudinal beam is 3.8-52% of the same of the flange of the steel girder.
