    • A super-resolution optical recording medium is provided to improve the quality of reproduction signal by forming uniform recording marks. A super-resolution optical recording medium comprises a recording layer(40) and a reproduction layer(60). The recording layer is made of metallic material and at least one of Si, Ge, and Sn. The reproduction layer includes one of nonlinear optical material, thermochromic material, and phase-change material so as to perform super-resolution reproduction when light is illuminated on the recording layer. The metallic material includes more than one of Ag, Al, Au, W, Mn, Pt, Ti, Zr, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Pd, Sb, Ta, In, Cu, Sn, Te, Zn, and Bi.

    • PURPOSE: A method for examining the mechanical durability of an optical disk surface is provided to quantify scratch generation information to improve surface mechanical properties, and to easily examine the quality of an optical disk, thereby more increasing data preservation while enhancing reliability. CONSTITUTION: A rotative plate(20) puts an optical disk(30) on which a scratch is generated, and rotates the optical disk(30) through a rotary motion. Plural abrasion wheels(10) are formed in a vertical position to the rotative plate(20), and generate the scratch through the rotation of the rotative plate(20) by a preset load on a surface of the optical disk(30) in contact with the optical disk(30). Predetermined scratch patterns are formed on the optical disk(30) by the abrasion wheels(10) contacted according to the preset load and the preset number of revolution.
