    • A liquid injecting method and liquid container is provided to separate air bubbles contained in liquid flowing through a liquid guide passage by filling a bubble trapping passage with liquid. A liquid container comprises a liquid feeding unit, a liquid guide passage, an air communicating passage, a liquid detecting unit, and a bubble trapping passage(713). The liquid feeding unit is detachable to a liquid consuming device, and contacts to a liquid containing unit and to a liquid injection unit of the liquid consuming device. The liquid guide passage guides liquid flowing in the liquid containing unit to the liquid feeding unit. The air communicating unit introduces air from the outside into the liquid containing unit according to the usage of liquid in the liquid containing unit. The liquid detecting unit, which is installed to the liquid guide passage, outputs different signals when the liquid guide passage is filled with liquid and when the liquid guide passage is filled with air. The bubble trapping passage is installed to the liquid guide passage between detection position by a liquid detecting unit and the liquid containing unit so as to trap bubbles(B) in liquid(I).

    • A liquid injecting method and a liquid container is provided to prevent ink from leaking out of an ink containing chamber and to prevent existing features from being damaged due to air bubbles by forming an inlet communicating with an air communicating path, filling an ink containing chamber with ink and then sealing the inlet. A liquid container comprises a liquid containing chamber, a liquid feeding hole(50), a liquid guide path(380), an air communicating path(150), and a remaining liquid sensor(31). The liquid containing chamber is equipped to contain liquid. The liquid feeding hole is contactable to a liquid consuming device. The liquid guide path is equipped to guide liquid remaining in the liquid containing chamber to the liquid feeding hole. The air communicating path communicates the liquid containing chamber to the air, formed smaller than some part of other communicating path parts, provided with a communicating path which is able to keep some of liquid contained in the liquid containing chamber through a meniscus. The remaining liquid sensor, which is installed to the liquid guide path, outputs different signals when the liquid guide path is filled with liquid and when the liquid guide path is filled with air. A liquid injection method includes the steps of: forming an inlet at the position which is higher than the upstream of a communicating path part; injecting a predetermined amount of liquid from the inlet; and sealing the inlet after injection.
