    • PURPOSE: An optical scanning apparatus is to provide a relatively straight scan line by decrease bow caused by a deflecting disc. CONSTITUTION: An optical scanning apparatus comprises a light source(10), a deflecting disc(11), rotatable provided above the light source, for diffracting a light beam, a motor for driving the deflecting disc, a number of reflective members for reflecting the light beam radiated from the deflecting disc, and a correcting member for compensating the light beam. The correcting member includes a collective mirror(15) for collecting and reflecting the right beam radiated from the deflecting disc, and a hologram device(16) for diffracting the right beam. The mirror is a rounded mirror(13',14'). The rounded mirror is bent in a direction of an X-axis and a Y-axis. The light beam radiated from the light source through the deflecting disc is reflected in a state of a straight scan line by passing through the rounded mirror.

The optical detecting unit(70) has a second optical detector(72) for detecting a light which penetrates the second tube portion(42) and outputting a signal corresponding to the detected light.
