    • PURPOSE: A portable charging device is provided to reduce the developing cost of a charging device and commonly use a charging housing in different terminals. CONSTITUTION: A charging housing includes opposite inner walls, a ceiling wall located between the inner walls, and at least one opening end. A mounting space is surrounded by the inner walls and the ceiling wall. The charging housing comprises at least one pair of terminals and a board connected to the terminals. A charging unit has a tip end, a rear end, two side ends, and at least one upper end. The charging unit is engaged with the mounting space. The charging unit is detachable from the charging housing. A guide means horizontally engages the charging unit to the charging housing. A connecting means electrically connects the charging housing to the charging unit when the charging unit is horizontally engaged with the charging housing.

    • PURPOSE: A smart battery of a cellular phone is provided to charge the smart battery with electricity without an additional charger by installing a charger and a micro computer in the smart battery. CONSTITUTION: A battery is formed with one cell or plural cells. A safety protection portion protects the battery from an operating temperature of the battery and an over-current state of the battery by using a thermistor. A protective circuit portion(11) includes resistors(R1 to R4), condensers(C1,C2), and a FET(Field Emission Transistor) for performing an on/off operation when over-discharge, over-charge, short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature are generated from the battery. A smart circuit portion(12) has resistors(R5,R6), a condenser(C3), and a smart IC(IC1) for measuring voltage, current, temperature, and present capacity of the battery. A charge portion(13) is formed with a current limit transistor(TR) and a charge IC(IC2). A micro computer portion controls measured data of the smart circuit portion(12), data transmitting and receiving operations, and a charging and discharging operation of the battery.

    • The method for forming a metal wiring film comprises (a) forming an insulating layer on the semiconductor substrate formed with a lower wiring layer, (b) forming a contact hole on the insulating layer, (c) forming a first material layer and a barrier metal layer on the whole surface, (d) retaining the layers in the contact hole, (e) forming an upper wiring layer on the whole surface, and (f) forming a metal silicide layer by the laser irradiation to the whole surface. The first material is pref. Pt, Rh or Pd, the barrier metal is pref. Ti, Ta, W, Mo or their cpds., and the upper wiring is Al or Al alloy. The method decreases a contact resistance of the semiconductor device.
