    • PURPOSE: A driving method of a display device and a driving circuit thereof are provided to prevent the disconnection phenomenon of a screen by outputting a raw image signal and a compensation image signal with a frequency higher than the input frequency of a film image signal. CONSTITUTION: An image signal determining part(110) distinguish a image signal corresponding to a film image or a video image. An original image signal extraction part(120) extracts successive a first and a third raw image signal based on a film image signal corresponding to a film image. An image signal converting part(140) generates a first and a second compensation image signal based on the first or third raw image signal. A frequency modulation part(160) transforms a synchronization signal to a driving signal with a second frequency higher than a first frequency. A data output part(150) outputs the first raw image signal with i-times, the second raw image signal with j-times and the first and second compensation image signal with k-times.

    • A driving device, a display device having the same, and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent a blur phenomenon of a moving picture, a brightness lowering, and the generation of a flicker by applying a gray scale of the impulsive data differentially according to a kind of the image. A signal control unit(100) inputs an external control signal(CT) and an input image data from an external device. A data control signal for driving an operation of a data driver(200) is supplied to the data driver. A gate control signal for controlling an operation of a gate driver(300) is supplied to the gate driver. A display panel includes first to m data lines(DL1-DLm), and first to n gate lines(GL1-GLn). The data line is connected to the data driver and receives first to m pixel voltage. The gate line is connected to the gate driver and receives first to n scan signals(S1-Sn).
