摘要： PURPOSE: A lightweight steel manhole cover with a waterproofing function is provided to achieve weight lightening by using a metal plate and to obtain perfect waterproofing effect without using additional packing. CONSTITUTION: A lightweight steel manhole cover with a waterproofing function comprises a lower frame and an upper cover. The lower frame comprises a bottom plate, a load support column(320), and a cover support column(330). The bottom plate is a hollow shape by cutting the center of a metal plate to leave the circular edge thereof. The load support column is coupled along the inner edge of the bottom plate and is vertically protruded. The cover support column is positioned in the outside of the load support column to maintain a predetermined gap to the load support column. The cover support column is coupled to the top of the bottom plate and is vertically protruded higher than the load support column. The upper cover comprises a cover plate(410) and multiple reinforcement members(420). The cover plate is placed on the top of the cover support column. The reinforcement members are coupled at the bottom of the cover plate and cross the bottom surface of the cover plate.

摘要： The present invention relates to a manhole cover for an equipment inlet and a method for manufacturing the manhole cover. The manhole cover for the equipment inlet which has a reinforcing pie combined with the lower side of a cover body. The cover body is composed of a center cover member and side cover members on both sides. In the center cover member, center drainage holes are perforated on the upper side of a center steel plate in a grid arrangement, and a center frame members are curved downward on the both longitudinal directions of the center steel plate. In the side cover members, side drainage holes are perforated on the upper sides of side steel plates in a grid arrangement, and side frame members are curved downward on the external edges of side steel plates except a part which is in contact with the center steel plate. Unlocking elevating units are arranged on both longitudinal directions of the center steel plate. The reinforcing piece is welded to be in contact with the lower side of the center steel plate of the center cover member and the lower sides of the side steel plates of the side cover members in a transversal direction. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the cross sectional area of a manhole cover can be widen without lowering intensity, entrance of equipment such as cleaning vehicles for cleaning large water and sewage pipelines installed in new towns and industrial complexes can be facilitated in addition to entrance of operators for installing water and sewage pipelines, power lines, and repairing and maintenance. Further, the entire weight of the manhole cover is reduced, thereby saving prices and improving external appearance.
