摘要： According to the present invention, when a center frequency is estimated and compensated in a wireless local area network (LAN), a center frequency of a primary frequency channel is estimated and errors are corrected. Thereafter, the center frequency is compensated based on the correction result, so that the center frequency of a primary upper frequency channel can be more precisely corrected. To this end, according to the present invention, an apparatus for compensating the center frequency in the wireless LAN includes: a center frequency estimator to estimate center frequency errors from a signal having the primary frequency channel output through a second low pass filter; a center frequency corrector to correct the center frequency errors, which is estimated by the center frequency estimator, according to the position of the center frequency, to calculate a correction value of a primary lower frequency channel according to the positions, and to correct an offset caused by a sampling frequency error based on a correction value; and a center frequency compensator to compensate for a center frequency error for the signal having the primary upper frequency channel output from a first low pass filter by using the center frequency error in the center frequency corrector.
