摘要： PURPOSE: A hand dryer is provided to increase the temperature of external air to a proper level using waste heat generated by driving a motor and reduce the driving time by exhausting hot air within a short time. CONSTITUTION: The hand dryer comprises: a main body(10) having a hand input portion(11) having a given space for putting in a hand formed at an upper central part, an air inlet formed at a lower side thereof and nozzles(12) formed at both sides of the upper side for exhausting hot air toward the hand input portion(11); a duct having a body shell installed within the main body, the inside being hollow and the upper side being connected to the nozzle, and a hot air generating unit installed at a lower part of the body shell for exhausting external air to the nozzle through a sound insulation unit formed at the upper side of a motor, the external air being heated by waste heat of the motor by rotating a fan installed at the lower side of the motor; and a control module for controlling the driving of the hot air generating unit.
