    • PURPOSE: An oil separator and an air-conditioner using the same are provided to efficiently separate the oil by centrifugal force while circling mixed refrigerant and by enlarging droplet of the oil by flowage. CONSTITUTION: An oil separator comprises a cylindrical case(161), an suction pipe(164), a refrigerant discharging pipe(163), and an oil discharging tube(165). The suction pipe is bent to a horizontal direction according to inner circumference of the case by inserting the suction pipe into a side of the case in order to flow refrigerant mixed with the oil inside the case. The refrigerant discharging pipe discharges the refrigerant inside the case by inserting the discharging pipe in a vertical direction from an upper side of the case. The oil discharging tube is connected to a lower side of the case and discharges the oil inside the case.

      따라서 본 발명에 의하면, 과냉각도를 적절하게 유지하여 효율을 향상시키고 실내기 소음을 저감시킬 수 있다.

The connecting pipe connects the first refrigerant pipe to the second refrigerant pipe to make refrigerant flow between the air conditioning unit and the cooling unit.
