    • PURPOSE: A driver of a drum washing machine is provided to simplify assembly procedures and reduce the number of parts by injection molding the bearing housing and stator of a motor integrally with an outer tub. CONSTITUTION: A driver comprises: a driving shaft(21) fixed to an inner tub and which penetrates, to be rotatable, through an outer tub(50); a bearing housing(30) for fixing a bearing(31) supporting the driving shaft to be rotatable; a stator(40) with a coil(40b) wound onto the stacked portion formed by stacking many steel cores, and which is fixed to the bearing housing; and a rotator(70) installed outside of the stator, and which rotates by the rotating magnetic field formed by the stator to drive the driving shaft and inner tub. The bearing housing and stator are manufactured integrally with the outer tub, in such a manner that the bearing housing and stator are fixed at the outer tub to match the center of the hole formed at the outer tub through which the driving shaft penetrates, to the center of the bearing housing and stator, and the part of injection materials of the outer tub is injected into the gap defined between the bearing housing and the stator.

    • PURPOSE: A driving part structure makes the driving force of a motor directly transmitted to a drum to reduce noise, hitch and energy waste. CONSTITUTION: A driving part structure comprises a tub(2), a drum(3), a shaft(4), a front and a rear bearings(6a, 6b), a bearing housing(7), a rotor(13), a stator(14) and a connector(16). The tub(2) constitutes a water storage tank. The drum(3) is installed inside the tub(3). The shaft(4) is connected with the drum(3) by axis to transmit the driving power of a motor(5) to the drum(3). The front and the rear bearings(6a, 6b) are installed on the peripheries of both ends of the shaft(4) respectively. The bearing housing(7) is installed on a rear wall(200) of the tub(2) to support the front and the rear bearings(6a, 6b). The rotor(13) is engaged with the rear end of the shaft(4) and constitutes the motor(5). The stator(14) is placed inside the rotor(13) and engaged with the rear wall(200) of the tub(2) to constitute the motor(5) with the rotor(13). The connector(16) is engaged with the periphery of the shaft(4) in the back of the rear bearing(6b) by serration and with the rotor(13) to transmit the rotary force of the rotor(13) to the shaft(4).

    • PURPOSE: A structure of an upper plate is provided to prevent the shake of a washing machine and the generation of noise by preventing the bump of an unbalance trace of an outer tub with the upper plate, and to exactly operate a detecting switch of unbalance by the unbalance trace of the outer tub passed without bumping with the upper plate. CONSTITUTION: When the washing is inclined to one side in a dehydrating process of a washing machine(101), an unbalance is generated. The unbalance trace is drawn during shaking the upper part of an outer tub(103). Through the outer tub(103) is rotated during drawing the unbalance trace, an interfered event of each other is prevented by a reserved space portion(105) formed in an upper plate(104). The unbalance trace of the outer tub(103) passed the reserve space portion(105) of the upper plate(104) is bumped with an operating rod(107) of the detecting switch of unbalance(106) of a top cover(108). The unbalance trace of the outer tub(103) is not bumped with the upper plate(104). The operating rod(107) of the detecting switch of unbalance(106) is moved from an early position(L1) to a position after moving(L2). Therefore, a process for untwisting the washing is performed by detecting the short of the detecting switch of unbalance(106) with a microcomputer.

The user uses by connecting a hose of water supply in the valve of water supply after separating the cap of water supply valve(1) by removing three connecting ribs.
