    • A retro-reflector used in traffic safety signs is provided to freely change the direction of a retro-reflection clock regardless of an angle from a front side of an exposed surface by facilitating the direction change of a reflection clock in a design step. A retro-reflector used in traffic safety signs includes a plurality of retro-reflection units(10) which are closely arranged on a plate with regular patterns. Each retro-reflection unit includes a main reflection corner(11) and a plurality of sub reflection corners(12). The main reflection corner includes a shared reflection surface(111) and a virtual step surface(112). The shared reflection surface is an optical surface of a geometric single plane. The virtual step surface is in contact with the shared reflection surface at a face angle of 90°. Each of the sub reflection corners is arranged along the step surface so that corners can come in contact with the shared reflection surface at a face angle of 90° by including a pair of exclusive reflection surfaces(121,122). The exclusive reflection surfaces are optical surfaces of geometric single planes coming in contact with each other at a face angle of 90°.

    • A retro-reflector is provided to have a characteristic that a retro-reflexibility is higher if an incident angle is larger or closer to a specified incident angle in case of largely designing a deflection angle of a main reflection. A retro-reflector(1) includes a body, at least one reflection bottom(12), and a retro-reflection structure(12a). The body is made of a light transmitting material and forms an incidence plane thereon. At least one reflection bottom is formed on a base surface of the body to be deflected in a specified direction to the base surface. The retro-reflection structure retro-reflects light impinged on the incidence plane and refracted by being arranged on the reflection bottom.
