    • PURPOSE: A mold for forming a pipe swimmer is provided to facilitate the manufacture of a swimmer by satisfying the required quality with a swimmer for forming a thin diameter pipe. CONSTITUTION: A mold(10) for forming a pipe swimmer is composed of a body unit, a protruded unit, a base mold(20), an upper mold(30), first and second forging molds(40,50), and a guide unit. The base mold has a first cavity(24) for forming the body unit and the protruded unit. A second cavity(34) for forming a part of the body unit and the protruded unit is formed by combining the upper mold and the base mold. The first and second forging molds are installed at both sides of the upper mold. The first and second forging molds have a third cavity(43) to forge the protruded unit. The guide unit guides the upper mold and the first and second forging molds about the base mold.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a vanadium oxide thin film is provided to secure easy handling in the air and to facilitate the production of a coating sol by using vanadium naphthenate as a starting material. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a vanadium oxide thin film comprises the following steps of: preparing coating sol in which vanadium naphthenate and toluene are mixed; coating a thin film on a substrate; and heat-treating the thin film to form an amorphous V2O5 thin film. The metal vanadium is added by 0.05g to the 1ml coating sol. In the coating step, the coating sol is dropped onto the substrate rotating at 1500-3000rpm and the state is maintained for 10 seconds. In the heat-treatment step, dehydrated air is injected into an electric furnace of 200 ~ 300°C at the speed of 100 ~ 200mL/min.
