摘要： A chair leg protection cap and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to change flexibly the cap according to the thickness of a chair leg by simply combining the knitted fabric to a groove formed at the lower end of the molded cap. In a method for chair leg protection caps, a groove is formed in the middle of a cylindrical member(11) made of plastic or synthetic resin material. A long and cylindrical knitted fabric(16) is cut in the predetermined length. The double knitted fabric is formed by turning the cut knitted fabric over and sewing both edges of the knitted fabric. A sewed part is positioned inside in completing the cap. A lower end(18) of the double knitted fabric is pushed and fixed in the groove formed at the plastic cylindrical body, by sewing the knitted fabric at least one time with covering the knitted fabric. The double knitted fabric is firmly fixed by pulling the yarn and then turned over again.
