    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a beam for grating is provided to manufacture a solid beam having high slip preventing effect and smoothen flowing of the manufacturing process by laterally forming accurate and satisfactory irregularities on one end surface of flat steel or I beam by cold rolling. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of a beam for grating comprises a first process of cutting the front part of a material to be processed(1) which is prepared by cutting flat steel or I beam having certain width and thickness to a certain length in a ">" shaped arrow form using upper and lower knives(2,3); a second process of locally heating an area to be formed only on one side cross section of a width direction of the material to be processed(1) having a front part cut to an arrow shape in an electrical or gas heating method; a third process of forming the locally heated material to be processed using cold two stage rollers(4,5) so as to form a protrusion(6) having a certain height on one side cross section of the locally heated width direction; a fourth process of passing the protrusion formed material to be processed between impression pressure forming rollers(7,8) which are horizontally rotated to form the one side protrusion(6) in an irregular shape; a fifth process of final precision rolling the material to be processed having the irregular shaped protrusion(6) using two vertical finishing rollers(9,10); a sixth process of correcting flatness of the material to be processed by upper and lower rollers(11,12); and a seventh process of correcting straightness of the material to be processed by left and right rollers(13,14).
