    • The present invention relates to a thermoplastic high impact polystyrene (HIPS) polymer and a dimethyl phenol (DMP) modified asphalt binder and a method for manufacturing the same by mixing asphalt with a modifier containing HIPS and DMP.     • PURPOSE: A reinforced soil block composition using carbon-reducing inorganic binder is provided to satisfy compressive strength and absorption rate of group standard capability rules of the reinforced earth block. CONSTITUTION: A reinforced soil block composition using carbon-reducing inorganic binder comprises 200-300 parts by weight of aggregate with less than 5mm, 10-100 parts by weight of building stone micro powder, 30-200 parts by weight of aggregate, and 10-40 parts by weight of mixing water based on 100 parts by weight of carbon reducing inorganic binder. The carbon reducing inorganic binder comprises 40-80 wt% of alkali activated slag based binder, 5-20 wt% of industrial by-product activation stimulant, 10-40 wt% of sulfate group activation stimulant, and 1-5 wt% of absorption rate reducer. The alkali activated slag based binder is composed of one or more of aluminosilicate based industrial byproduct and ordinary Portland cement. The industrial by-product activation stimulant is composed of more than one or more of paper mill sludge ash, high calcium fly ash and red mud dry powder.

    • PURPOSE: Mixed mortar for overcoming the bottom impact noise of concrete slab is provided to reduce the bottom impact noise of the concrete slab by adding a styrene butadiene rubber(SBR) latex-based admixture into mortar. CONSTITUTION: Mixed mortar for overcoming the bottom impact noise of concrete slab is composed of 20-25 weight% of cement, 3-10 weight% of a polymer admixture, 5-10 weight% of water, and remaining amount of sand. The polymer admixture is SBR latex. A method for mixing the mortar includes the following: The sand and the cement are dry-mixed for 30 seconds at a low speed. Water is introduced into the mixture and is mixed for 30 seconds at a middle speed. The SBR latex is introduced into the mixture and is mixed for 60 seconds at a high speed.
