    • PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition and a hydrogel containing an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, and a biocompatible polymer are provided to suppress athletes foot, and to treat ulcer, wound, or burn. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating athletes foot contains an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, and a biocompatible polymer. The Impatiens balsamina extract is prepared by mixing each extract of Impatiens balsamina flowers, leaves, and stems. A hydrogel for preventing or treating athletes foot is prepared by crosslinking a mixture of an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, a biocompatible polymer, and purified water by radiation. A method for preparing the hydrogel comprises: a step of preparing a Impatiens balsamina extract mixture; a step of dissolving the extract mixture, the biocompatible polymer, and metronidazole in purified water and preparing a mixture solution; a step of pouring the mixture solution on a frame and molding in a gel type sheet; and a step of irradiating the sheet by radiation.     • An ionic liquid type of crown ether derivative is provided to be used for effectively isolating metal ions including radioisotope. And a method for preparing the same is provided to usefully use a crown ether as a recyclable and environment-friendly isolation media. The ionic liquid type of crown ether derivative is represented by the formula(1), wherein each m and n is an integer from 1 to 4, X^- is an anion chemical species of an ionic liquid, and R is H or C1-6 alkyl. The method for preparing the ionic liquid type of crown ether derivative comprises the steps of: (a) substituting an alcohol group in an ethylene glycol compound of the formula(2) with X so as to prepare a compound of the formula(3); (b) reacting the compound of the formula(3) with substituted or unsubstituted imidazole of the formula(4) so as to prepare a compound of the formula(5); and (c) reacting the compound of the formula(5) with a compound of the formula(6) to prepare the ether of the formula(1).
