    • PURPOSE: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is provided to improve electrical properties by optimizing the thickness of a gate oxide layer according to the thickness of a semiconductor layer. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor layer(30) is formed on a substrate(10). A gate insulating layer(40) is formed on the substrate including the semiconductor layer. A gate(45) is formed on the gate insulating layer. The gate insulating layer has a thickness at least the same as or larger than that of the semiconductor layer. The semiconductor layer is made of a polysilicon layer.

    • PURPOSE: A flat panel display is provided to improve UV hardening efficiency of a sealant by using a reflecting plate and to increase hardening efficiency of an optically hardened sealant by using a waveguide. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display includes a lower insulating substrate(100) on which TFT(Thin Film Transistor) and a light-emitting element are formed, an upper insulating substrate(220), a sealing part, and a reflecting plate(167). The sealing part bonds the upper and lower insulating substrates to each other using a sealant(230). The reflecting plate is formed at a portion corresponding to the sealed portion. The reflecting plate is formed on the inner side or outer side of the upper or lower insulating substrate.

    • PURPOSE: An organic electro-luminescence device and a method for sealing the same are provided to prevent the damage on an adhering portion between a substrate and a flat plate as a cap by hardening effectively an adhesive between the substrate and the flat plate. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(30) is formed with a glass material or a plastic material or a metallic material. An ITO electrode(32) is formed on the substrate(30). The ITO electrode(32) is used as a positive pole. An organic luminant layer(34) is formed on the ITO electrode(32). A conductive electrode(36) is formed on the organic luminant layer(34). The conductive electrode(36) is used as a negative pole. A luminant portion(38) is formed with the ITO electrode(32), the organic luminant layer(34), and the conductive electrode(36). A flat plate(40) is adhered on an upper portion of the luminant portion(38) by using an adhesive(42). A through hole(45) is formed at a predetermined portion of the flat plate(40). A dehumidifying agent(49) is formed on a receiving groove(48) of a lower face of a substrate(30) in order to remove humidity. The through-hole(45) is filled with a hardener(46). The luminant portion(38) is shielded by forming a welding portion(44) on the hardener(46).
