    • PURPOSE: A call channel selection method in frame relay connection between base station controller(BSC) and inter-working function(IWF) is provided to select the most adaptable channel in order to allocate it to the new call between the BSC and IWF in mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A CCP(101) discriminates whether there is a request of setting a call. When the call setting is required, the CCP(101) selects processes(IIP) having a channel (ICH) satisfied with 'FREE_CAPA(ICH)>REQ_CAPA' among processes(IIP1-IIPK) within a BSC(100). Thereafter, the CCP(101) selects the process having the least CALL_NO(IIP) value among the selected processes(IIP). Also, the CCP(101) selects links(ILINK) having the channel(ICH) satisfied with 'FREE_CAPA(ICH)>REQ_CAPA' among the lower links(ILINK) of the selected processes(IIP). The CCP(101) selects the link of the least number of call among the selected links. Thereafter, the CCP(101) selects the channel having the most traffic allowance volume among the lower N number of ICH of the selected link. Thereafter, the CCP(101) increases CALL_NO(ICHn), CALL_NO(ILINKm) and CALL_NO(IIPk) relating to the selected process, link, and channel(IIPk, ILINKm, ICHn) as much as the number of required call.

    • PURPOSE: A method of controlling a time switch is provided to control the time switch existing between an originating terminal and a receiving terminal, for failure testing on a call path, so as to form a loop relating to a preset call. CONSTITUTION: An output of the first resource is connected to be an input of the first resource through a time switch(10). The output of the first resource is connected to be an input of the second resource through the time switch(10). The first test data is generated by the connection. An output of the second resource is connected to be an input of the second resource through the time switch(10), and the output of the second resource is connected to be an input of the first resource, to generate the second test data. A call failure location is decided by using the first and the second test data.
