摘要： The original round wire can be a copper, copper alloy, aluminium or aluminium alloy. The wire is drawn in a tandem drawing device through a drawing die. The wire is then cleaned electrolytically followed by application of an insulating layer onto the surface. The insulating layer is subjected to a hardening process and rolled to produce the required size rectangular section. The drawing of the round wire can be carried out in a single die or in a drawing roller whereby surface flows are removed. The drawing roller is usually softer than the material of the wire.

摘要： The method involves drawing an elongated workpiece through a container, the interior of which is supplied with a non-oxidising gas and/or liquid. The bottom of the container is submerged below the surface of a melt and the top of the container has a gas discharge port which is aligned in the direction of advancement of the workpiece and which has an inside dimension greater than the outside dimension of the workpiece. The container prevents oxidation of the bath surface so that a thick coating having a good apperance can be produced even when the workpiece vibrates at high feed speeds. A cold gas and/or liquid can be used for rapid cooling of the workpiece to prevent sagging of the coating.
