摘要： PURPOSE: A hand brake device of an exercise bike and a control method for the bike using the same are provided to be used for a virtual reality game. CONSTITUTION: A hand brake device(100) of an exercise bike comprises a brake lever(110), a spring(120), a detection sensor(130), and a signal transmission part(140). The brake lever is located in parallel with a handle(20) extended from the frame(10) of the exercise bike and rotates around a hinge. The spring is installed so that force can be actuated in the direction that the brake lever is restored to an initial position. The detection sensor senses the rotational displacement of the brake lever. The signal transmission part transmits the rotational displacement of the brake lever detected from the detection sensor.
