    • PURPOSE: A plasma air cleaner is provided to purify by a plasma discharge reaction while passing through multiple ground pipes after the inflow of relatively large quantity of air and purify air by a relatively even plasma density. CONSTITUTION: A plasma air cleaner includes a main body(110), multiple ground pipes(120), a discharge electrode(130), a discharge electrode fixed bar(140), a power applying part, multiple helical flow guide members(150), a central main body(151), and multiple guide vanes(152). The main body is equipped with an air inflow chamber(111) and an air outflow chamber which are mutually separated. One part of the multiple ground pipes is connected to the air inflow chamber and the air outflow chamber which are parallel to each other. The discharge electrode is arranged along the inner center of the ground pipe, is separated with the ground pipe, and is prepared at the each ground pipe in order to generate a plasma discharge reaction with the ground pipe. The discharge electrode fixed bar forms a discharge electrode connection hole combined with the discharge electrode in a central part thereof, forms a bar shape forming a ground pipe mounting part in which the end part of the ground pipe is mounted, and is made of an insulating material. The power applying part applies power for a plasma discharge reaction in the ground pipe and the discharge electrode. The multiple helical flow guide members include a central main body and multiple guide vanes. The central main body forms a discharge electrode penetration hole in which the discharge electrode penetrates. The multiple guide vanes are protruded from the outer periphery of the central main body and induce the helical flow of fluid. The guide vane is made of an insulating material.

    • PURPOSE: An air cleaner is provided to exhaust external air in which impurities of various sizes are absolutely removed by the combination of an electrostatic precipitation method and a non-power cyclone method. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner(1) comprises a main body(2), a cyclone flow forming member(20), a discharge electrode(100), and an air filter(200). In the main body, an axial direction-penetrating hole(10) and an outlet are formed. The cyclone flow forming member arranged inside the axial direction-penetrating hole rotatably, and consists of a shaft(21), and blades(22). The shaft is installed to be perpendicular with the direction of a flow path. The blades guide flow of inflowing air. The discharge electrode is attached to at least one blade, and to have one polarity of positive polarity of negative polarity. The air filter is installed to the outlet, and has opposite polarity with the discharge electrode. The air filler collects micro dusts in air penetrated through the cyclon flow forming member.

The ion shower part uniformly generates a corona discharge anode and a corona discharge cathode to evenly inject negative charges and positive charges into an electrostatic filtration member (202). The ion shower part includes HEPA filters (204,212), honeycombs (206,214), a positive discharge electrode (208) and a negative electrode (216). The rollers are disposed on both sides of the electrostatic filtration member. Different polarity of electric field is applied to each of the rollers.

    • A particle classifying apparatus according to the present invention includes: a pillar-shaped inner electrode; an outer electrode surrounding sides of the inner electrode to be spaced apart from the inner electrode; an aerosol supply part and an air supply part which supply air and aerosol respectively to a separated space between the inner electrode and the outer electrode; and an air supply part, wherein the separated distance between the inner electrode and the outer electrode is smaller in a downstream portion than in an upstream portion of the aerosol flow. When using the particle classifying according to the present invention, there may be merits that the aerosol particles may be classified and collected by size even though a flow path of the aerosol becomes shorter; and also generation of a pressure difference is prevented by disposing a chamber on a particle discharge path, so that the particles may be evenly collected from all directions of the aerosol flow path.
