The said auxiliary wheel device includes: an auxiliary wheel, a damping unit which connects the body of a two-wheeled vehicle, with the auxiliary wheel, and which buffers the impact delivered to the body by the auxiliary wheel; and a blocking unit which selectively blocks the operation of the damping unit, externally manipulated by a user. The user can selectively control the operation of the damping unit, in accordance with the running condition, by an external manipulation.
