    • The present invention relate to a unit and an apparatus for measuring the maximum contact pressure which is permitted to the surface of the head of a human body. More specifically, the unit and the apparatus for measuring at various head parts the size of the maximum contact pressure, which can be endured by a subject, of the surface of the head when applying pressure to the head of the subject using a measuring device with a pressure sensor. The unit for measuring the maximum contact pressure of the head comprises: a hemispherical main body whose lower part is open; at least one decompression unit which is fixated through penetration, and applies pressure toward the center of the main body; at least one pressure sensor which is placed at the end of the decompression unit, and converts pressure information into an electrical signal; and a processing unit which is connected with the pressure sensor through a wire and wirelessly in order to receive, display, or save the pressure information. The pressure information indicates the maximum contact pressure immediately prior to the appearance of the sense of pain to the subject. Therefore, the unit for measuring the maximum contact pressure of the head can set the standard of the maximum contact pressure of the head.

    • A system for selecting a pillow fit to a head type of a customer and an operation method thereof are provided to select the customized pillow by determining the head type after measuring contour of customer's head through a 3D(Dimensional) head scanner or two CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera, and determining a pillow shape fit to the head type. A head contour measurer(110) measures the contour of the customer's head. A data storing part(150) stores data for the head type, the pillow shapes fit to each head type, hardness according to materials in the pillow, and a pillow pad to correct a pillow height. A head type determiner(120) determines the head type of the customer by receiving the data from the head contour measurer and the data storing part. A pillow shape determiner(130) determines the pillow shape fit to the head shape of the customer by receiving the data from the head type determiner and the data storing part. A pillow shape display part(140) displays the pillow shape according to output data of the pillow shape determiner.
