    • PURPOSE: A body monitoring device and a circuit and method for inspecting the defects of a gas-flow-proportional counter type radiation detector are provided to ensure the normal operation of the body monitoring device by quickly checking the state of the radiation detector. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for inspecting the defect of a gas-flow-proportional counter type radiation detector comprises a D/A converter(220), a counter(260) and a control processor(230). The D/A converter controls a high-voltage power circuit(210) according to the instruction of the control processor. The D/A converter supplies an abnormal bias voltage that is higher than normal bias voltage to the radiation detector. The counter counts pulse output from the radiation detector. The control processor inspects the state of the radiation detector using the counted data. If the counted data is below enumerated data, the control processor determines the radiation detector to be abnormal.

    • Provided is a radiation detector which comprises a housing having a recessed portion for accommodating an electrode and formed to allow a gas to flow out of the recessed portion after flowing into the recessed portion; a cover coupled to the housing to cover the recessed portion, having an opening for allowing radiation to reach the recessed portion, and having a groove formed on the rear side thereof to surround the opening; a sealing member charged or inserted into the groove and arranged to surround the recessed portion; and a film arranged to cover the recessed portion, formed to seal the housing and the cover by being pressurized by the sealing member, and preventing the leakage of the gas while allowing the radiation to pass therethrough.

    • PURPOSE: A proportional coefficient deformation radiation detector of the general contamination monitor and a constitution method are provided to replace all proportional coefficient deformation radiation detectors installed at general contamination monitor, and to maintain normal operation of the general contamination monitor although the gas is not supplied continuously. CONSTITUTION: The proportional coefficient deformation radiation detector(160) of the general contamination monitor(100) includes: a inlet valve(140); a outlet valve(150); a flow meter(130); and a detector control circuit(170). The inlet valve is installed in the gas inlet of the radiation detector and flows the gas in. The output valve is installed in the gas outlet of the radiation detector and flows the gas out. If the inlet valve and output valve open at the same time, the flow meter offers the gas to the inlet valve. The detector control circuit counts background data related to the offered gas. The inlet valve and output valve are controlled by the detector control circuit according to the counted background data. The detector control circuit transfers the closed control command to the inlet valve and output valve in case the counted background data as described above arrives in to the standard value and controls the inlet valve and output valve to close.

    • PURPOSE: A radiation measuring system is provided to enable a user to easily obtain information on measured radiation from an external system or monitoring center through a portable radiation measurement terminal. CONSTITUTION: A radiation measuring system comprises a lighting lamp which is installed inside a building, a radiation measurement module(100), a receiving unit(20), a power line(30), a modulation sending unit(50), and a monitoring unit(200). The radiation measurement module comprises a measurement unit(130) which measures radiation and collect radiation information and a transmission unit(150) which reflects the light from the lighting lamp and transmits reflective light modulated according to the radiation information. The receiving unit is arranged close to the lighting lamp and receives the reflective light from the transmission unit, thereby receiving the radiation information. The power line supplies power to the lighting lamp. The modulation sending unit is connected to the receiving unit and modulates the radiation information to be transmitted as being overlapped power wave on the power line. The monitoring unit selectively divides the modulated information from the power wave on the power line and analyzes the radiation information.
