    • PURPOSE: An overflow down-draw process and a manufacturing method of a glass sheet by using the method are provided to form glass ribbons by permitting a specific type molten glass velocity profile. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass sheet using an overflow down-draw process comprises next steps: delivering stream of molten glass to inside a channel of trough-shaped part(102) through open end of open channel(103); molten glass is over flown at least a part of a first trough top(125) in order to form a first glass ribbon on a first exterior trough side(129); the molten glass is over flown at least a part of a second trough top(127) in order to form a second glass ribbon on a second exterior trough side(131). The molten glass velocity profile in the overflow fusion down-draw right process has an average velocity which is higher than average velocity of neighborhood.
