摘要： PURPOSE: Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a cured surface layer which has excellent wear resistance and a high hardness without adding any curing catalyst, and does not cause any deterioration of the original charge transport performance. CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a support(4) and a photosensitive layer disposed thereon. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a surface layer(1) which contains at least one charge-transporting material(2) and conductive particles; and a polymer obtained by polymerizing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyhydroxymethyl bisphenol monomer having 2 or 3 benzene rings and 2 to 4 hydroxymethyl groups; a polyhydroxymethyl bisphenol oligomer having a structure in which a bisphenol monomer having 2 or 3 benzene rings is condensed, and having 2 to 4 hydroxymethyl groups; a polyhydroxymethyl trisphenol monomer having 3 or 4 benzene rings and 2 to 6 hydroxymethyl groups; and a polyhydroxymethyl trisphenol oligomer having a structure in which a trisphenol monomer having 3 or 4 benzene rings is condensed, and having 2 to 6 hydroxymethyl groups.
