    • An apparatus for conveying the shroud nozzle in the continuous casting facilities is provided to prevent damage and cracking of the shroud nozzle or safety accidents of the workers generated in the shroud nozzle moving process when workers move a shroud nozzle from a shroud nozzle storing box to continuous casting facilities. An apparatus for conveying a shroud nozzle in continuous casting facilities comprises: a lifting rotary unit including a rotary body(20) rotated by a motor(15) and a lifting body(30) lifted from the rotary body and integrally rotated with the rotary body; and a moving unit including a moving body(50) installed above the lifting body, lifted and rotated integrally with the lifting body, and moved horizontally relative to the ground, and a holder(60) installed at an end portion of the moving body to hold a shroud nozzle(1). The apparatus further comprises a fixing body(10) which fixes the apparatus to the ground and functions as a central shaft during the rotation of the apparatus.

    • PURPOSE: An inert gas purge device and a continuous casting method using the same are provided to prevent contact between an inner wall of a tundish and air even though the inner wall of the tundish submerged in molten steel when replacing a ladle. CONSTITUTION: An inert gas purge device comprises a gas spraying unit(100), a gas feeding pipe(200), and a gas feeding unit(300). The gas spraying unit is led into the inside of a tundish(10) through a cover(20). The spraying unit sprays inert gas from at least one of a horizontal direction and an upper side for the surface of molten steel(1) above the molten steel. The gas supplying pipe is connected to the gas spraying unit. The gas supplying unit is connected to the gas supplying pipe and supplies the insert gas.

    • A device for opening and closing a molten steel injection hole of a tundish cover is provided to smoothly perform the preheating operation of the shroud nozzle by preventing safety accident of workers due to a preheating flame of the tundish, protecting casting facilities, and removing work load of the workers when carrying out a preheating operation of a shroud nozzle during preheating of a tundish. A device for opening and closing a molten steel injection hole of a tundish cover comprises: a cover body part(100) which is installed to seal the molten steel injection hole formed in the tundish cover, in which a preheating hole(101) is formed such that a shroud nozzle is injected into the preheating hole, which has a hollow part formed therein such that a cooling medium flows through the hollow part, which has an injection hole(111) and a plurality of discharge holes(113) formed in side face thereof such that the cooling medium is injected into the injection hole, and the cooling medium is discharged from the discharge holes, and which is cooled by a flow of the cooling medium; a supporting arm part(200) which is rotated in a state that the supporting arm part supports the cover body part so as to open or close the molten steel injection hole; a plurality of connecting bars(150) which are set up on a top face of the cover body part, and which have pin holes(151) formed in upper portions thereof; and a connecting plate(300) which is installed on an end portion of the supporting arm part, and in which a plurality of connecting bar through-holes(310) are formed such that the connecting bars pass through the connecting bar through-holes, wherein the cover body part is installed on the supporting arm part in a state that the connecting bars pass through the connecting bar through-holes, and fixing pins(152) are fitted into the pin holes.
