    • PURPOSE: A noctilucent artificial marble structure and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to prevent colors of a direction guide mark from being changed even after the artificial marble structure is used for an extended period of time, and to increase durability while having high heat resistance, suppressing generation of poisonous gases at an event of a fire, and serving as a noctilucent marker even under a poorly illuminated condition. CONSTITUTION: The noctilucent artificial marble structure(10) comprises: an artificial marble molding body(11) formed of an artificial marble having a predetermined shape, the artificial marble molding body(11) prepared by mixing silica, a flame retardant, a binder, an initiator, and a crosslinker and molding at a predetermined temperature; and a direction guide layer(12) having at least some of a predetermined guide mark buried into at least one surface of the artificial marble molding body(11), the direction guide layer(12) formed by mixing a photoluminescent pigment and methylmethacrylate in a predetermined mixing ratio.

    • PURPOSE: A process for producing a resin for a coating agent is provided, which can inhibit the use of an emulsifier, prevents the lowering of properties, and polymerizes monomers easily. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: dissolving a water-soluble resin and a polymerization initiator in water; injecting a non-ionic emulsifier, a polymerization initiator, and a monomer into the dissolved water-soluble resin. The water-soluble resin comprises at least one of a styrene/alpha-methyl styrene/acryl acid copolymer, a styrene/maleic acid copolymer, a butyl acrylate/acryl acid copolymer, and an ethylene/acryl acid copolymer. The non-ionic emulsifier contains at least one of an ethoxylate nonyl phenol and polyoxyethylene isooctylphenyl ether. The polymerization initiator contains at least one of ammonium persulfate, potassium persulfate, sodium persulfate. And the monomer comprises at least one of methylmethacrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, styrene, and vinyl acetate.
