    • PURPOSE: A carbon nanocomposite and a preparation method thereof are provided to improve mechanical and thermal properties and an electromagnetic wave-shielding or absorbing property in high frequency band including microwave frequency, due to improved nano-porosity, electric and thermal conductivity and high specific surface area of a carbon nanomaterial, as well as improved compatibility and dispersability with a polymer resin. The preparation method thereof does not require additional device or process. CONSTITUTION: The carbon nanocomposite is prepared by: (A) electroplating a carbon nanomaterial in an alkali transition metal electrolyte; (B) dispersing the electroplated carbon nanomaterial into monomers or prepolymers for preparing a polymer resin; and (C) carrying out polymerization of the monomers or crosslinking of the prepolymers to obtain a composite where the carbon nanomaterial is homogeneously dispersed. The composite contains 0.5-20.0wt% of the carbon nanomaterial.
