    • PURPOSE: A robot cleaner is provided to provide the various damages by an intruder in a security mode with a motion detecting sensor and an alarming device. CONSTITUTION: A robot cleaner comprises a body(10), an intruder detecting sensor, and an alarming device. The body comprises a foreign material sucking port(12) on the bottom. The body travels with a plurality of driving wheels(20). The body moves by the control of a control unit and cleans the floor in a cleaning mode. The intruder detecting sensor is installed on the body and detects an intruder in a security mode. The alarming device informs the trespass of an intruder. If a detecting signal is input from the intruder detecting sensor, the controller operates the alarming device.
