    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To totally solve various problems that when a speaker system with superior bass reproduction capability is designed using a passive radiator, trade-off relation among factors determining the characteristics of the speaker system becomes remarkable and it is very considerably difficult to design the speaker system.SOLUTION: An elastic film is used for a vibrating film of the passive radiator. A suitable coefficient of elasticity is secured by spreading the film, and the number of weights attached to the film is increased, to widen a design range of resonance conditions of the passive radiator. A vibration-damping film is provided on a surface of the film to suppress parasitic vibrations which are apt to occur to a thin film. Recesses are provided so as not to impede movements of an edge of the vibrating film by providing inclinations at portions of a frame and a weight with which a vibrating film comes into contact. An O ring structure is provided at both ends of the edge of the vibrating film and the O rings are embedded in O ring grooves provided to both the frame and weight to secure tension of stable quality. Two weights are pressed against the top and reverse of the film to eliminate a bonding process.

The diaphragm is arranged in a space above the first magnetic pole and in a space below the second magnetic pole and its outer circumference is supported by the yoke.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric/acoustic transducer which can be further thinned while preventing the deterioration of acoustic performance or the disconnection of a lead wire of a voice coil.
      SOLUTION: An electric/acoustic transducer comprises a magnetic circuit 25, a frame 29 fixed in a yoke 21 of the magnetic circuit 25; a diaphragm 26 fixed to the frame 29; and a voice coil 27 disposed in a magnetic gap 24 of the magnetic circuit 25 partially while being fixed to the diaphragm 26. In such an electric/acoustic transducer, a central portion of the diaphragm 26 is formed to be recessed, the surface of a pole piece 23 of the magnetic circuit 25 facing a central recess 26a of the diaphragm 26 is also formed to be recessed, and the height of the diaphragm 26 is suppressed low while sufficiently securing the amplitude of the diaphragm 26. Then, a gap 31 of a coupling part 30 between the yoke 21 and the frame 29 and the diaphragm 26 is not reduced.
