    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the malfunction of a receiver by shifting a local oscillation frequency for a seven-channel tuning selection from a normal frequency in a search tuning operation or auto preset operation mode of a television broadcasting wave and eliminating a VHF eight-channel video carrier at a sound trap for a receiving channel of an intermediate frequency filter. SOLUTION: In this method, the local oscillation frequency of a tuner in a seven-channel receiving mode is set lower by 0.5 MHz and the influence of an eight-channel video carrier is eliminated according to the software correspondence of a turning microcomputer in an auto preset operation mode and in an auto search operation mode. When the frequency L7' obtained by lowering a normal oscillation frequency L7 by 0.5 MHz is used for a local oscillation frequency in the seven-channel receiving mode, an intermediate frequency to the eight-channel video frequency becomes 54.25 MHz and falls into a sound trap of a SAW filter. As a result, receiving sensitivity can further be lowered as much as trap attenuation quantity.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiver which has fast tuning function at a low cost by operating the difference between the frequency value of a measured intermediate frequency and the frequency value of a prescribed intermediate frequency, performing additive correction of the difference to a tuning frequency and retuning. SOLUTION: An IF counting part 6b of a microcomputer part 6A measures an intermediate frequency, that is a difference between a local sending frequency which corresponds to a tuning frequency and an antenna-receiving frequency which is inputted via an IF detecting part 3. Next, a calculating part 6c operates the difference between a measured value and 450 kHz complete tuning frequency. The tuning frequency is reset by adding a frequency difference to a scan frequency, i.e., a tuning frequency that is generated by a tuning frequency setting part 6d. A PLL part 8 scans a tuning frequency which is set by the part 6d, i.e., a receiving wave for each frequency value, that adds a scan frequency which gets a value for each frequency of a prescribed interval to a prescribed intermediate frequency. With this, a receiver completely tunes in with respect to any antenna input frequency.
