      SOLUTION: The phase shifter includes: a 90° phase shifter which generates four signals in which phases are respectively different by 90° from two signals in a phase shifter that generates the two signals and a plurality of signals having different phases from the two signals in which input phases are different by 180°; and a phase shifter which has a differential amplifier for amplifying the four signals having respectively different phases by 90° without changing the phases, and a differential amplifier for obtaining phase difference 45° to generate four signals having phases respectively different from the four signals by 45°, and generates phase difference 45° to generate eight signals of phase difference 45°.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase adjusting circuit to adjust a phase difference between an I signal and a Q signal so as to become equal in all frequency ranges, a disturbance signal removing circuit provided with the phase adjusting circuit, and a radio receiver provided with the disturbance signal removing circuit. SOLUTION: The I signal and the Q signal input from an input terminal T1 and an input terminal T2, respectively, are added by an adder 21 and are attenuated to 1/X times by an attenuator 22. The attenuated signal is added to the I signal by an adder 23 and is output from an output terminal T3. The attenuated signal is added to the Q signal by an adder 24 and is output from an output terminal T4. The phase difference between the I signal and the Q signal is reduced by this operation. As an in-phase component whose phase has delayed is used for a phase adjustment, the phases of the I signal and the Q signal are changed keeping the phase difference between the I signal and the Q signal at a low-frequency component side and the phase difference between the I signal and the Q signal at a high-frequency component side almost equal.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost filter circuit which is small and integrated, and by which disturbance signals of arbitrary frequencies can be eliminated.
      SOLUTION: The filter circuit is provided with a 90° phase shifter 5 to which desired signals and disturbance signals are inputted; a first phase shifter 1 which has phase shift amounts different between the desired signal frequency, and the disturbance signal frequency and to which one output a1 of the 90° phase shifter 5 is inputted; a second phase shifter 2 to which the other output b1 of the 90° phase shifter 5 is inputted; and a synthesizer 6 to which an output cl of the first phase shifter 1 and an output d1 of the second phase shifter are inputted, and which synthesizes the two outputs. The first phase shifter 1 and the second phase shifter 2 perform phase shifting processing by different phase shift amounts between the desired signal frequency and the disturbance signal frequency. The synthesizer 6, to which the output c1 of the first phase shifter 1 and the output d1 of the second phase shifter 2 are inputted and which synthesizes the outputs, offsets and eliminates the disturbance signals and allows only the desired signals to pass through.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the semiconductor chip size of a 90-degree phase shifter for converting input signals into first and second differential signals to shift each signal phase by +45 degrees and by -45 degrees, respectively, thus outputting the phase-shifted signals and also to reduce the consumption current of the phase shifter.
      SOLUTION: The first and second differential signals are output from a differential amplifier 1. Signals 101 of one side of the first differential signals and signals 102 of the other side of the first differential signals are shifted in phase by +45 degrees and are output from the phase shifter 5 and from the phase shifter 8, respectively. Each of the signals is input to a differential amplifier 17. Signals 103 of one side of the second differential signals and signals 104 of the other side of the second differential signals are shifted in phase by -45 degrees, and output from the phase shifter 11 and from the phase shifter 14, respectively; and each of the signals is input to a differential amplifier 18. DC biases for signals 105, 106 of the first differential signals output from the phase shifters 5, 8 are set in a DC bias circuit 2, while the DC biases of signals 107, 108 of the second differential signals output from the phase shifters 11, 14 are set to the input potential with respect to the phase shifters 11, 14 by resisters 12, 15.
