    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile coin collection device at a low cost, which is capable of discriminating coins accurately and driving a member to be driven, and in which coins do not easily clog.
      SOLUTION: The coin collection device 10 comprises: a fixed wall 12 that is arranged generally perpendicularly; a pair of coin seizing part 16 that is disposed on the side face of the fixed wall 12, horizontally spaced at an interval d a little narrower than a standard diameter Ds of the coins so as to support the coins 14 in the neighborhood of the two radial ends from under and seize them; a movable wall 18 that is made movable between an approaching position where it approaches the fixed wall 12 and the position that is spaced by a distance greater than a standard thickness Ts from the edge 16A of the coin seizing part 16; and a coin extruding member 20 that contacts the coins 14 seized by the coin seizing part 16 from the side of the fixed wall 12, and extrudes them in the direction of the movable wall 18. The device is so composed that the coin extruding member 20 drives the member 24 to be driven through the coins 14 at the coin seizing part 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an illicit coin from substituting for a normal coin in a coin identifying device incorporated in an automatic vending machine or the like and identifying and distributing charged coins. SOLUTION: When a coin 1 is charged, the authenticity and denomination of the coin 1 and the are identified by a sensor 2. A distribution controlling means 3 drives a driving device 4 for operating a gate 4a, and controls the distribution of the coin 1 based on this identified result. When the distributed coin 1 is the most expensive coin among coins which are being treated, a stopper 6a is provided on the passage. A temporary holding controlling means 5 drives a driving device 6 for controlling the operation of the stopper 6a, and operates the temporary holding of the coin 1. Then, when a returning instruction or a merchandise purchasing instruction is transmitted from an automatic bending machine side, the holding of the coin 1 is released. When the merchandise is not purchased, and the returning instruction is transmitted, a destination of instruction switching controlling means 7 drives a driving device 8 for operating a gate 8a, and distributes the coin 1 to a passage communicated to a return port.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the device small-sized and to improve the distributing speed of coins by arranging a rod body means so that the lower opening of a passage means where one disk body passes in a longitudinal attitude is sealed and providing a distributing means for rotating the rod body means on its length axis. SOLUTION: A passage 15 in a thin plate shape for falling a coin along the surface of a substrate 11 is formed above the left side of the substrate 11. Further, a distribution chamber 16 in a thick plate shape for distributing coins is formed successively below the passage 15. Then the rod body 21 is arranged obliquely while sealing the 1st passage 17 of the distribution chamber 16. The tip part of this rod body 21 is positioned below the 2nd passage 18 and the root part is arranged in the center or slightly below the substrate 11. This rod body 21 is so arranged as to rotate on its length axis. Consequently, the device can be made small-sized and the distribution speed of the coins can greatly be improved.

The accumulation memory stores the types of money and the number of notes stored in each accumulation area 104. After the end of call, charge not paid yet is processed in comparison with said accumulation memory by rounding off the fraction of the charge in the unit of the minimum value of the coin so as to minimize the victim of changes for the user. The combination of the accumulated coin is selected corresponding to the call charge. According to the selected combination, the coin corresponding to the combination is stored. In this case, under the control of the control section 20, a stored magnet 33 is excited to operate the lever 105 and a returning lever 106 driven with a returning magnet and to store and return the coin.
