    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform redrive by recharging a power supply battery when an operation stops due to a voltage drop by canceling the disabling of the operation when reaching a state where a power supply voltage can be applied so that operation is enabled from a state where a time measurement means is disabled due to a low voltage. SOLUTION: Immediately after the power supply voltage of a secondary battery recovers and a chronograph control part is restarted, a chronograph stays being disabled. In this case, when the power supply voltage of the secondary battery being detected by a voltage detection circuit 1812 is equal to or more than a specific voltage, a first chronograph disable latch circuit 1730 where a detection signal SDK is inputted outputs an L (disable cancellation) latch signal S1 to a start/stop control circuit 1731 and a second chronograph disable latch circuit 1735. Therefore, a signal B of both the circuits reaches H and a latch signal S2 reaches L. Therefore, a mode control circuit 1824 does not output a reset control signal SRC for disabling a chronograph, thus canceling the disabling of a chronograph reference signal generation circuit 1825 and enabling the chronograph part to start running electronic timepiece hands by operating a button.

    • PURPOSE: To drive an electronic timepiece with one motor without sacrificing chronograph function by controlling the rotary direction of a second hand on returning corresponding to the zero-returning direction of the second hand when shifting from a normal time mode to a chronograph mode. CONSTITUTION: For example, when operating a chronograph function is operated for 15s. when a current time is 10 o'clock past 10m 24s, an external switch is pressed and a second hand is rapidly fed in inverse direction and is moved to the position of 12 o'clock. At that time, since an electronic clock is driven by one motor, the hour and minute hands indicate 10 o'clock past 10m which is delayed from a current time by 24s. The second hand becomes a chronograph second hand and starts counting. When it is stopped after 15s., it stops for 10s., then the chronograph mode is automatically canceled, the clock hand rotates in forward direction by 34 seconds, and indicates the current time, 10 o'clock past 10m 49s. In the case of 10 o'clock 10m 25s, the clock hand rotates is formed direction and moves to the position of 12 o'clock, rotates in backward direction, and returns to the current time. In the case of 55s., the clock hand moves and returns in forward direction, thus controlling the rotary direction on returning corresponding to the zero-returning direction when the clock hand moves and driving the electronic timepiece with one motor.

    • PURPOSE:To easily set target time by providing a time measuring means, a target time storage means, and a target time storage means which stores measurement data of the time measuring means in the target time storage means as the target time. CONSTITUTION:A time measuring circuit 4 counts pulse signals of 100Hz supplied through an AND circuit 3 to measure an elapsed time. The measurement data obtained by the circuit 4 are outputted to a decoder driver 5 and outputted to a time storage circuit 8 through an AND circuit 7. The circuit 8 is stored with the target time with a setting switch 19 and when the measurement data are inputted from the circuit 4, the measurement data from the circuit 7 are set as the target time. The stored data of the circuit 8 are supplied to the decoder driver 5 and supplied to a comparing circuit 20. The circuit 20 compares the measurement data from the circuit 4 with the stored data supplied from the circuit 8. Further, the circuit 20 outputs alarm signals (a) and (b) to a time casting driving part 21 when the stored data indicates time which is one minute before the stored data or when the measurement data matches with the stored data.
